Why Choose Anavasi?
Knees
High heels cause an unnatural bending of the knees. This increases the amount of pressure being applied on joints and can potentially cause arthritis.
Feet
The narrow shape of high heels and the uneven weight distribution on feet pushes toes forward resulting in increased pressure. Constant pressure on the toes can lead to cramping, pain, nerve damage, bunions, and Morton’s Neuroma.
Lower Leg
The Achilles tendon and the posterior leg muscles shorten during high heel use. Leading to inflammation once the foot is flat and the leg is stretched.
Posture
An increased amount of pressure is placed on the forefoot, forcing the body to readjust its alignment in order to maintain balance. This generates an unnatural s-shape to the spine that can promote additional health issues, including muscle overuse and back pain.

Testing and Validation
Preliminary testing and FEA of Anavasi’s initial prototypes have shown promising results and even outperformed a traditional high heel in peak force testing.Testing and Validation
